Character-Place is the online trading name of Burnham Retailing Ltd possibly with the midlands, if not UKs largest selection of fully licensed character products in one place. The company was formatted in 2003 and now trades with a high street shop and here online.

The range of products, primarily directed towards children includes many of the most famous character names from the world of Television, Cinema and Books. You will find Noddy, Ben 10, Disney Princess, Me To You, Hello Kitty, Spiderman, Clone Wars, Fireman Sam, Diego, Transformers, Bob The Builder, Bakugan, Power Rangers, Tinkerbell and many more. We also have a selection of products suitable for teens such as, Elvis Presley, Guinness, Betty Boop not to mention some of the most famous football clubs the UK has to offer. Ranges include: Duvet Covers, Bedding, Fleece Blankets, Towels, Balloons, Hooded Ponchos, Lamps, Lights, Backpacks, Swim Bags, Umbrellas, Party Ware and Lunch Boxes – this range continues to grow.

We established our first website www.brlstock.com some years ago but with an ever changing market we have embarked with www.character-place.com – we hope you like our growing website. We chose this particular design and layout for simplicity of use. If you’re anything like us you either know what you want and want to go straight to it or you want to browse what is available either by character or product type and this site offers both choices.

We have teamed up with two of the largest payment providers the internet has to offer Paypal and Google Checkout both of which provide a secure and encrypted service (we do not see, gather or hold your private payment details) but we also accept cheques, postal orders or via the telephone credit and debit card payments – of course you can visit us in person and use that old fashion method of cash.

Our aim is simply to offer quality branded goods at sensible prices with great service – as a high street shop we are not hidden on the internet we are open to be visited.

Our products are sourced from the largest suppliers here in the UK and only from those that have the relevant licenses and have the highest quality standards available such as Zap Ltd, Character World and Trademark Collections to name but a few.
